Remember Sheela, the bubbly kid who played important roles in many films as a child artiste? Sheela, who is a pretty lass today, is now a heroine. We cant fail to remember a fact that Sridevi, Meena, Shalini and likes of victorious heroines were one time child artists. Though Sheela has acted in films like 'Cheena Thaana' and 'Kanna' was not much successful in Tamil for unknown reasons.
Despite being a Tamilian by origin, she is concentrating on building her career in Tollywood. She is now busy currently working in one Telugu film with Junior NTR and a Kannada flick with Ajai
When asked about why she is yet to grace the Tamil screens, the actress speaks with disappointment. I am sad about not getting good roles in Tamil at all. I can act according to what the role deserves. If my role in Maska needed a swim suit, I did it. But I cant do it just for the sake of it. Already, I think heroines today are indulging in too much glamour, says the young actress, who also says that a film does not become a hit because of glamour alone.
