Kannada films beckon Celina Jaitley

Looks like former Miss India Celina Jaitley is slowly but steadily migrating South. After her stellar performance as a South Indian girl in the funny flick 'Golmaal Returns', the leggy actress has signed on for her first Kannada film, Shreemati. She has been cast opposite Upendra, one of the biggest stars in Kannada.
Upendra has the story and screenplay ready to go in both Kannada and Telugu. 'Shreemati' is said to be a remake of the Bollywood hit 'Aitraaz'. Celina is playing the role that was handled by Priyanka Chopra in the hindi version. Ironically, Abbas Mustan has first approached Jaitley with the role that later went to Chopra.
Jaitley has finished filming a portion of the film in Hyderabad and is headed to South Africa for the next leg.
