The level of intimacy of Deepak Sawant to Amitabh Bachchan can be judged from the fact that he has been the Bollywood star’s make up man for 30 years.

It can also be assumed that Deepak must have been a loyal partner to Big B during all those times when the actor’s personal and professional life were immersed in several troubles.

So no wonder that Amitabh gave a prompt “yes” when Deepak requested him to be the main actor in a film that he is going to produce.

The family drama which has been given the title ‘Great Dadu’ will be directed by Abhishek Chhada and start its production this May.

Sanjay Dutt, Hema Malini and Vidya Balan are the other main actors of the movie.

Earlier Deepak wanted Mr.Bachchan to act in Bhojpuri film which he was planning to make.

But that film named ‘Ganga’ never materialized.

A 70 year old character will be portrayed by Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini will be playing the role of his wife in ‘Great Dadu’.
