'Mayandi Kudumbathar' – Rural all the way

Director-turned-actor Tharun Gopi is happy shooting for 'Mayandi Kudumbathar', directed by Rasu Madhuravan in a remote village near Vathalakundu.

Speaking about the movie, he says, 'it is about the youngsters, who take up violence in their life for petty issues. The way they learn family values and bring happiness in their lives forms the crux of the movie'.

As an actor, he says, ' I enjoy my work. My tension level is so minimal. No wonder I enjoy acting.' Tharun Gopi who had directed the likes of Vishal (Thimiru) and Simbhu (Kaalai) before says, ' Simbu is far better than Vishal in cooperating with directors.

On his sudden entry as a 'hero', he says, 'I found myself apt for the script. I am confident that I can make it big.'
