My character

I love my character. It’s so much like me. If I didn’t have to appear in public I would walk, talk and dress just like Sidhu. Come to think of it, Sidhu is a man I was once in Bangkok. The purpose of the journey is different but the drama is definitely the same. I have fought as many villains in this movie as I have in my career. While doing this movie I was in Kung fu heaven.

How would you describe CC2C

CC2C is comedy, drama , dance and kung fu. It's like chicken tikka and chowmein soup. If you don’t like the flavor of this I suggest you see a doctor because there’s something wrong with your taste buds. You definitely will enjoy the movie.

What do you have to say about Deepika's comment on she being the female Akshay

She once said she wants to be female Akshay. I hope she doesn’t beat me. She’s done a good job in the film and I helped her here and there. So, that way, I made sure she always comes out second best to me, because you know how good women are at picking up things. They are quick. I couldn’t be outshined by the lady. Don’t you agree with that?

Experience with kung fu master - Gordon Lui

Unforgettable!! You know how fans react when they see Aamir Khan, how they run behind him. That’s how I see Gordon Liu. I have admired him, his martial arts since the beginning. He's an honorable man. It was superb working with him. In my childhood I have literally trained in his footsteps in ‘36 Shaolin’ all the way to ‘Kill Bill’.

On the sets he improved my Chinese and I improved his Hindi. But actually we both didn’t learn anything. (Laughs)

Experience working in the Great Wall of China

Unbelievable!! We had a fabulous experience shooting on the ancient legendary monument of the world - Great Wall of China. It was spiritually breathtaking, probably the highlight of our shoot. This film just has legends and legendary things. It’s magical!!

Experience with Mithun dada

This is the first time I am working with him. He's a classic actor and a very warm human being. It was a pleasure to work with him and the connection I felt with him as my father figure was very very touching. I hope you feel it too by watching the film.

Experience shooting in Chandni Chowk

Shooting in Chandni Chowk was a unique experience. I was born there. I thought it was sheer madness to shoot there deep in the narrow gullis. The people there were overwhelming. Also I am an expert regarding the food available there, so I treated the unit to the best delicacies there - Chandni Chowk's parathe vali gulli.

Dee Dee Ku

Dee Dee Ku -the action choreographer is a true Hong Kong character. He is super quick. Whenever he would have crazy stunt ideas one couldn't figure if he was serious or joking - whatever it is you are surely in trouble. He is incredible in his field and I trusted him with my life. If I had met him before, my life would be different. He has worked on movies like ‘Kill bill’, ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’, ‘Matrix’ and has only worked with the best, so pleasing him was like squeezing blood from a stone.

When he says Akshay the take is ok , thats a huge compliment coming from him. His favourite lines are “What is that -no no, go back- Do it again Akshay - you are not playing a game.” That's what Dee Dee Ku is!

You have sung a song in the film

My friend Bohemia is the music director of the song, he helped me rap the song.
