It has been a break fantasized by any debutant film maker and the one person to whom A.R.Murugadoss owes a lot for getting such an explosive and smooth entry into Bollywood is Aamir Khan, the heart and soul of 'Ghajini'.
From being a hot shot film maker in the south who does not know even a little bit of Hindi to now being known as the man who directed Aamir's blockbuster 'Ghajini', Murugadoss got enough strength from the faith bestowed upon him by Aamir who also helped him extensively in every aspect related to the production.
Speaking about Aamir, the film maker says "I want Aamir to be my consultant. 'Ghajini' in Hindi would have never become a reality without him. I would like to get Aamir's guidance for my future projects. I don't know Hindi at all. But I knew the meaning of Tamil words, so fumbled my way through the Hindi dialogues. Every time I got struck on a word or line, I would call up Aamir".
During the discussion stages of the action oriented flick, whenever Murugadoss used to suggest changes from the original Tamil version, Aamir never agreed to it and instead said that they should not alter anything from the Tamil 'Ghajini'.
The lead actor of the first 'Ghajini' Suriya, the film lovers and Murugadoss himself has said that the Hindi version has turned out to be a lot better and one of the foremost reasons for this is the completely changed climax scene.
Only the climax scene was decided to be changed and Aamir took up the responsibility to build up the new climax and he changed the incident, locations and dialogues in such a way that it becomes more thrilling and fits in to the sensibilities of the film lovers of north India whose preferences are entirely different.
