The popular Malayalam actor Suresh Gopi, who did many films in the language, is soon set to do a lead role in a straight Telugu film. He is known to the Telugu audience through his dubbed films 'Police Commissioner', 'Bharath Chandra IPS', 'Terrorist' and 'Journalist'. These dubbed versions of the Malayalam movies gained a niche for him even though he didnÂt do a straight film till this project came along.
Actress Bhoomika plays the heroine in this Suresh GopiÂs first venture in to the Telugu industry. The overseas distributor Tolly-to-Holly Sudhakar is going produce the film, which is set to be directed as a maiden venture by Srinu.
The shooting of this film will start with a pooja and the customary rituals in Hyderabad, on the 9th of this month.
