Actress Kamna was introduced in 'Idhaya Thirudan' to the Tamil film industry. She then proceeded to act in 'Machchakaran' and a host of Telugu films. She is currently one of six heroines in the film 'Rajathi Raja' directed by Sakthi Chidambaram and starring Ragava Larencce.

Kamna has recently said that it was very nice to see many heroines coming together for projects. She even termed it 'healthy'.

'Hindi cinema these days are coming up with quite a number of movies that feature many heroes. Heroines are introduced in order to pair with them. Interestingly none of them have ego clashes', she says.

'In Tamil even if there is only one hero, many heroines are teaming up in projects these days. This is a very healthy sign', Kamna added.

'Naan Avan Illai' starring Jeevan had five heroines. 'Raman Thediya Seethai' starring Cheran also has a number of heroines. So does 'Rajathi Raja'.

If every artiste has the same viewpoint as Kamna, the Tamil film industry would indeed become an artistically inclined place where healthy competition would prevail.
