'Adhivasiyum Adhisayapesiyum' will star comedian Senthil in the lead role and is reportedly the remake of the celebrated English film 'Gods Must Be Crazy' that was released in the eighties.

'Gods Must Be Crazy' was about a carelessly thrown Coke bottle from an airplane. The bottle landed amidst a tribal hamlet and confused all the inhabitants there as to what it could be. They end up using it for all kinds of purposes that was narrated in a funny way.

The same story is to be remade in Tamil and it would be a cell phone instead of the Coke bottle. 'Adhivasiyum Adhisayapesiyum' would also feature Mayilsamy, Vaiyapuri and Ramesh Aravind. Designed as an out and out comedy film, shooting is slated to happen in dense forests of South Africa and Malaysia.

Actress Meena was origianlly cast in the film but then pulled off as she is again gaining prominence after being in the starcast of 'Kuselan'. Reports indicate that the producers of 'Adhivasiyum Adhisayapesiyum' cannot afford the higher remuneration she is demanding right now. Looks like a replacement will be made very soon.

The movie is produced by a new company called BBC International.
