Fast climbing to the ladder of stardom is Tamanna. The young actress, who made her mark in Tamil films with ‘Kallori’ (directed by Balaji Sakthivel) is slowly but steadily making progress here.

Though ‘Kallori’ could not send the cash registers ringing, she hogged the limelight for her excellent portrayal. An impressed cinematographer-director K V Anand chose her act opposite Suriya for his ‘Ayan’, to be produced by the famed AVM Productions.

Also she bagged the plump offer to play Dhanush's heroine for ‘Padikathavan’.

Tamanna says, “My philosophy is very simple. If I am impressed by any role offered to me, I accept it readily. Acting opposite Suriya for AVM Productions is a dream-come-true experience for me”.
