Gone are the days when producers used to worry about the distribution issues of their films. The distribution blues have been considerably reduced after the advent of Corporate Firms entering the field. We could witness more and more corporate firms entering in to the area of film distribution besides producing films.

The distribution rights of Vijayakanth starrer ‘Arasangam’ and Bharath starrer ‘Nepali’, the movies that are expected to hit the halls by the second week of April, have been sold to Corporate companies. While Pyramid Saimira has procured the distribution rights of ‘Arasangam’, Reliance Company has bagged the rights of ‘Nepali’.

The rights of ‘Nepali’ has been sold to two crore rupees while the amount given for ‘Arasangam’ is yet to be known. But Pyramid has given the whole amount even before the film is released. It is said that the gesture is in reciprocation to the help rendered by Captain when the company got in to a big trouble during its beginning stage.
