Surprisingly, Kollywood has witnessed a quadruple release on Good Friday. Inba, Singakkutti, Kannum Kannum, and Sanda are releasing this Friday. This could be the major release before the beginning of summer season. Here goes the sneak preview on the four films:
Inba
Sneha and Shaam pair up on screen after a long time in Inba, directed by S T Vendhan. The pair has done two movies Hey Nee Romba Azhaga Irukke and ABCD.
Shaam, who sports a beard for the first time in a movie, is playing a tough auto driver. The music is done by P.B Balaji
Singakutty
The film marks the launch of one more star from the legendary Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan's family. Shivaji, the grandson of Sivaji Ganesan, is the son of Ramkumar and Meena Ramkumar. He is also the nephew of actress Sripriya.
The film, directed by A Venkatesh, who has given hits as Bhagavathy (Vijay), Aei and Chanakya (Sarath Kumar), Vathiyar (Arjun) and Kuthu (Simbu). Gowri Munjal, who entered Tamil films through Thottal Poo Malarum, plays the ladylove of the hero.
Prasanna Sekar, who has composed music for Bollywood movies like Sarkar, Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag and Darling, makes his Kollywood debut with this film
Sanda
Sundar C., the director turned hero, is ready with his next action flick Sanda, directed by Shakthi Chidambaram. While newcomer C. Ragini does the female lead, Namitha does an important role.
Nadhiya plays the role of Sundars mother. Her role, which defies the stereotyped Kollywood mother, is said to be one of the highlights of the film. Viveks comedy is set to provide some hilarious moments.
Sanda, means fight, ironically insists peaceful living. The music is handled by Dhina
Kannum Kannum
Kannum Kannum may not be a true story but it tells a story that could happen to any one of us.
Screen Play Entertainment's Kannum Kannum has no violence and vulgarity. It tells you the story of Sathyamurthy (Prasanna) and Anandhi (newcomer Udhayatara) and their lives. It talks of love story that goes beyond the formulaic love being depicted on Tamil screen.
If the story has a serious approach, there is Vadivelu to provide the comical relief. Story, screenplay, dialogue, direction are handled by newcomer G. Marimuthu.
