In a series of events following Aamir Khan’s much controversial statement that Shahrukh is second to him and loves being so; King Khan tackled the media at a conference held this afternoon to announce his Kolkata Knight Riders team. Shahrukh spearheaded the team captained by former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly and looked sleek and smart in a black suit and golden tie which carry elements of the team colour.

“I’m glad that Aamir considers me to be second. We share a special rapport and I would love to act with him someday. Whatever I have to tell him, I will do it personally and not in front of the media who will blow things out of proportion. As I came here this morning, I was asked by my wife not to say a word about Aamir else she would beat me up. She is a die hard Aamir fan”.

Another question that topped the list of questions was the state of Hockey in India and whether Shahrukh should be involved in the development of Hockey rather than favouring Cricket.

“Im an actor and my job is to act; I definitely feel sad about what happened with the Hockey team. But, at the end of the day Hockey too is a sport; one has to loose and one has to win. I think the team shouldn’t lose hope and try harder and get back. I was disturbed when I read the headlines National Game National Shame”, said Shahrukh.

On further being quizzed on if there would be an auction for Bollywood then would Aamir or Shahrukh provide a better investment; Shahrukh replies,” See let me get this clear, whether its is Shahrukh, Salman , Aamir , Akshay or Hrithik ; it’s always the script that comes first and the script is the true hero.”

A very patient Sharukh Khan who was present with the media for over 4 hours took some time out to interact with a bunch of kids present who tried to prove that King Khan couldn’t match any fifth grader.

Shahrukh signed off by wishing Aamir all the very best as he turns a year older tomorrow and Shahrukh left the youth with a message to believe in themselves and above all to remember “I desire it because I deserve it.”
