The yesteryears’ numero uno heroine of Kollywood has finally made her comeback into the show world. However, the star hasn’t made it to big screen yet. Despite many speculations over her reentry into Kollywood, she hasn’t got any substantial role in films.

Simran, however, has made her presence felt in small screen with three different shows featuring her. Apart from Kalaignar TV’s ‘Maanaada Mayilaada’ show, she is the centre of mini mega series ‘Simran Thirai’ in Jaya TV. The daily programme, which was started on March 3, will run for one year.

She has also been made the judge of a talent hunt show to find heroes and heroines for the films. The show titled ‘Super Stars’, produces by ‘Silverline Film Factory’ will be telecasted in Sun TV.

Do these developments indicate that Simran’s comeback trail to Kollywood has not been successful? Not quite, says the evergreen star. “I have been getting offers to act in films and I have accepted a few. I’ll tell you about them soon”, says the actor.

Participating in many shows in small screen simultaneously is not as indication of going away from the big screen, clarifies Simran. “I used to act in many films simultaneously when I was busy in big screen. Likewise I am acting in many TV shows at a time.”

So, folks, be assured that it’s only a matter of time before we could see star shining in big screen too.
