The professional graph of Sathyaraj is raising steeply post ‘Thangam’. The movie, which has a fair run at box office, has increased his commercial worth and the response to his latest release ‘Vambuchanda’ has added more value to his commercial status.

Sathyaraj, who has been getting around Rs. 25 lakhs per film, has raised his salary to 40 lakhs. ‘Vambuchanda’, which is said to have come out well in many respects, is expected to confirm his position as a commercial hero.

The increase, however, will not apply for those who had approached him before ‘Thangam’ release.
