Preity Zinta these days is a pretty busy woman, work wise and otherwise. We have seen her acting, endorsing brands, and recently bidding for players in the IPL. Lately this lady had a chance to meet none other than the Finance Minister of India and she was prompt enough to set before him a few requests that she had in mind.

Just before the 2008-09 budget was to be presented Preity along with a few other NGOs got a chance to meet our FM and is reported to have requested him to have this year's budget woman-friendly.

While they ladies had got less than half-hour to meet Mr. Chidambaram they made the most of it by presenting before him requests like providing incentives for women in the industries, better loan-offers for the single woman and of course compulsory education for the girl child.

The actress felt that though she had originally started as a glamour world personality now a days she looks for improvising her work in the best way possible. She is also said to have mentioned that the ladies with voices who are a minority in our country should raise their voice for the betterment of the ladies who are the silent majority.

Preity Zinta also felt that she was obliged to give back at least something for the society from which she has been benefited.
