Kerala film lovers are known for their penchant for realistic films with soft-natured stories. Now the trend is slowly changing and they have started to enjoy action films like their counterparts in Tamilnadu. Ajith’s action flick ‘Billa’ grossing in more money than that of Mohanlal’s film ‘Flash’ with tender story stands testimony to this.

This is not the only example. Our counterparts in Kerala are following other trends too from Tamilnadu. In Tamilnadu we have separate magazines for the stars like MGR, Rajini, Kamal, Vijay, and Ajith just to mention a few. There are nearly 25 such magazines. They come regularly and have their own clientele.

Now in Kerala our fellow neighbors are following the same trend. There are separate magazines for Mammootty and Mohanlal that have started making the rounds and are being received well.

Seems like ‘the God’s own country’ is following Tamilnadu in taste and hero worship too. So…. what would be the next thing on the cards? Movie stars slowly entering into politics or probably temples built for film personalities?

Only time has to tell, but one thing is for sure is that Keralites have started their share of hero worship!
