‘Dhaam Dhoom’, featuring Jayam Ravi in the lead, was expected to hit the halls by Pongal. The latest news is that it is postponed.

The movie directed by Jeeva, was aiming a Pongal release. Even the producers of 'Santhosh Subramanian', another movie featuring Jayam Ravi, were willing to cooperate by changing their release date.

Earlier, 'Santhosh Subramanian' was about to be released during Pongal. Since it might be risky to have simultaneous release of two films featuring the same hero, 'Santhosh Subramanian' team had decided to alter its release date to facilitate 'Dhaam Dhoom' to come on Pongal.

Even after such an adjustment, 'Dhaam Dhoom' could not make it, as the songs are yet to be finished. The film has five songs and the music director Harris Jayaraj has finished only three.

The three songs are said to be outstanding. Now Harris Jayaraj is working meticulously for the two songs.

Last month the team was confident that the songs would be completed in time but Harris could not finish the songs as expected. So 'Dhaam Dhoom', is getting postponed.
