Madhavan, popularly known as Maddy is in an upbeat mood about his forthcoming film, which hits the screens on December 7. He exuded confidence about the success of the film.
Madhavan organized the press meet to launch his production house Leukos Films. The company has procured the IPR rights of 'Evano Oruvan', featuring Madhavan, Sangeetha, and Seema in prominent roles. The company was formally launched by Swaminathan of Pyramid Saimira International. The launch function was held on November 30, at Hotel Taj Coramandal, in Chennai.
Swaminathan, in his brief speech, praised Madhavan for coming forward to be a stakeholder of the project in which he is acting. He opined that it would be a healthy trend if every actor comes forward to be a stakeholder of his or her projects. This will put them in the process of marketing the film, which in turn will be useful for the industry as a whole. Pyramid Natarajan too echoed the same feelings.
Madhavan explained the rationale behind the move to start a production company. Since he liked the outcome of 'Evano Oruvan' very much, he thought he should take the responsibility of promoting the film. The company, he clarified, would not venture into full time production business. We will promote and take part in the ventures we feel worthwhile.
Madhavan expressed his gratitude to the media, for the support it has been giving to him right from the beginning. He responded to the questions of the reporters in a friendly and relaxed manner. He also thanked director Seeman for helping him writing the dialogues for the movie.
Director cum actor Seeman, lyricist Na. Muthukumar, and Music director G.V. Prakash shared a few words.
The director of 'Dombivili Fast', the original version, Nishikanth was present and delivered a brief speech about his experience with directing the Tamil film. 'Dombivili Fast' had bagged around 35 awards at both national and international film festivals under various categories.
The trailer of 'Evano Oruvan' and the solitary song from the movie were screened. The visuals were stunning, while the music was effective.
Selected scenes from the movie were screened all over the world during last month to promote the movie all over the world. The response was overwhelming, informed Madhavan, who organized and attended the world wide premiere.
