Produced on the prestigious banner of AVM, directed by Creative Director Shankar with All India Super Star Rajanikanth as hero and glamour queen Shriya as heroine, the heavy budget message-oriented film 'Sivaji' had successfully completed 100 days in 111 theatres across the country.

The film was released in 232 theatres in Tamil Nadu alone and it completed 100 days in 102 theatres.

Even today there was about 60 to 70 per cent collections on normal days and houseful collections during the weekends, i.e., on Saturdays and Sundays. The film depicts how the country could be developed if the black money was recovered from the rich people.

AR Rahman's music and Peter Haynes' action choreography also helped in the success of the movie.
