The tall, dark and handsome actor of Tamil cinema, Vishal, has accepted to act in the Tamil version of the Telugu blockbuster, Bommarillu.

Vishal will be doing the role that Siddharth played in the original. The film has a strong script and offers ample scope for performance for both the hero and the heroine. It is to be seen as to who will be the heroine as this role is demanding and requires someone chirpy and genial to play it. Genelia walked away with all honors in the Telugu version of this film and Siddharth, at every function he attended in connection with the film, maintained that Genelia was the hero of the film!

However, a modest Genelia chose to call Baskar’s (the director) script the real hero. Baskar, it must be noted, is a Tamilian from Vellore who graduated from the Film Institute, Tharamani, Chennai.

Prakash Raj is remaking this blockbuster in Tamil and with Vishal, it seems like a safe bet.

Details about the director and heroine are awaited.
