As expected, Reema Kagti's directorial venture has taken a good start in UK.
Aided by superb promotion and an excessive media drive, this Ritesh Sidhwani-Farhan Akhtar film has opened well as the overseas numbers start coming in.
Says Tanuj Garg, Studio 18 (overseas distributors of HTPL), "The film has taken a flying start in the UK on Friday. This is substantially higher than what any mid-range film released in recent times has achieved. We are only expecting the collections to go further up since the word of mouth has been highly encouraging."
As per the figures available, the film boasts of collecting £11917 on just 14 prints with per print average working out to £851. Even in India, the initial reports indicate that the film has taken a favorable start with collections moving up ever since the first show commenced. The actual numbers are still awaited though.
