It is well aware that south Indian superstar Rajanikanth and Shriya are playing the lead roles in 'Sivaji' directed by noted director Shankar on the banner of AVM Productions.
It has become a big question mark on who got the dubbing rights for this heavy budget film film in Telugu. First it was said that Super Good Films had bagged the rights.
Later, Bellamkonda Suresh in a statement released to the press declared that he got the dubbing rights and he is planning to release the film in summer. He also thanked AVM banner for giving him such an opportunity.
Later noted producer NV Prasad gave an advertisement in newspapers on February 9 stating, We had absolute rights on the dubbing rights of Sivaji in Telugu. No dealings in this regard with others are void.
'The advertisement was given by NV Prasad on the banner of Sri Srinivasa Art Pictures. A big ruckus is likely in the Film Chamber. It is not known to whom the AVM Productions had given the dubbing rights or whether it was given to both of them. It may be mentioned here that NV Prasad had earlier bagged the dubbing rights of 'Baba' of Rajanikanth.
As the film proved to be a failure Super Star Rajanikanth had repaid the losses to the producer NV Prasad. In this backdrop, NV Prasad has every chance to bag the dubbing rights of 'Sivaji' as he had good rapport with Rajanikanth.
At the same time, Bellamkonda had reportedly paid a fancy rate to the dubbing rights and the AVM Productions had agreed to give the dubbing rights to him is another talk. It is the AVM Productions who could make everything clear that who has the correct dubbing rights.
They should come out clear with a public statement for the reasons behind the clash over the dubbing rights. It is improper on the part of a big production company like AVM to keep silent on such issues.
