The much-expected audio of the film Pori was launched in Chennai at the sprawling Sathyam Cinemas. The film stars Jeeva and Pooja in the leads, and is directed by Subramanya Siva.

Subramanya Siva's previous movie Thiruda Thirudi was a big musical hit --- who can forget the rambunctious Manmadha Rasa? So naturally, there is high hope riding on the music of Pori too. Like in Thiruda Thirudi, the music here is by Dhina.

Actor Dhanush, who made a big impact with Thiruda Thirudi was the chief guest of the occasion. Actor Srikanth was also present. Producer Editor Mohan also spoke.He was accompanied by his sons Jayam Raja and Jayam Ravi.

Jeeva the up and coming actor of the generation was the cynosure of all eyes. Jeeva said he was happy to be the part of the film and added that he wanted to work with the same director in another movie too.

Director Subramanya Siva redirected all the credit to his team comprising cameraman N K Ekambaram and music director Dhina.

Others who spoke included directors Amir, Jananathan, Stanley, Perarasu, Karu Palaniappan, Durai, actors Srikanth, Jayam Ravi, Ramesh, Pasupathy, Karunas and lyricists Yugabharathi and Arivumathi.
