The people of Vaikam was enquiring about the long beard clad actor who is acting for the Tamil film here at Vaikaom. They identified that the actor was Sathyaraj, and when they came to know about it they covered the actor with much respect.
Sathyaraj was shooting for the film Periyar based on the life of Periyar - the founder of D.M.K. Sathyaraj himself appear as Periyar in the film. Jyothirmayi appear in the female lead in this film directed by Gnanasekharan.
Gnanasekharan is famous for his previous films like 'Mohamullu' and 'Bharathy' which won many awards at the national and international levels.
