Rajinikanth and Suresh Krishna always share a good rapport. The two worked together in movies including Annamalai, Basha and Baba. Basha went on to collect huge revenue and became a trend-setter in the industry.

After directing a couple of Telugu and Hindi movies, Suresh Krishna is back to direct a Tamil movie Parattai Engira Azhagu Sundaram, starring Dhanush and Meera Jasmine in the lead roles. Keyar is producing this movie, which is a remake of the Kannada movie Jogi.

Suresh Krishna recently called on Rajinikanth and held discussions about the movie before he commenced the shooting.

The actor, who had seen the original, had advised Suresh Krishna to make relative changes in the script to suit the Tamil audience. He also urged Suresh Krishna to reproduce the mother-son sentiment in the movie well, like the way it was in the original in Kannada.

The thrilled director has vouched to render his best for the movie's success.
