Why Mithoon scores over Pankaj in Anwar music?

Mithoon, the young twenty something music composer is the best news for film music this year apart from Raghav Sachar of course. After the superlative show of brilliance in his maiden venture ÂBas Ek Pal where one of the songs ÂTere Bin became humungously popular, Mithoon infinitely impressed with his second outing ÂAnwarÂ.
Both the songs composed by him, ÂMaula Mere and ÂJaveda Zindagi are a direct contrast to his western compositions in ÂBas Ek PalÂ. The simplicity with which he has used the light Indian Classical flavour in both the songs is a direct contrast to the ornate classical arrangements of the other composer of the album Pankaj Awasthi. While ÂMaula Mere and ÂJaveda Zindagi are songs that one feels like listening to again and again, ÂDilbar MeraÂ, ÂJo Maine Aas Lagayi or ÂMela (all composed by Pankaj Awasthi) are songs that attempt more to show off the classical leanings of the composer rather than having a soul. Moreover, Pankaj AwasthiÂs morose singing makes most of his numbers unbearable too.
After listening to the album one wishes Mithoon had composed all the songs for ÂAnwarÂ. Hope he is the only composer in his future albums.
