Deepavali, the movie starring Jeyam Ravi and Bhavana will hit the screens for Pongal.

Confirming its release, producer Lingusamy said, ‘My maiden production venture will grace the theatres this Pongal'.

Deepavali will be directed by Ezhil and music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

'I was tense in my directorial venture (Anandham). Thanks to the experience, I am confident of tasting success as a producer. I know I can bank on a talented cast and crew.'

Lingusamy was all praise of Ezhil. 'I was highly impressed of his screenplay in Thullatha Manamum Thullum. I am sure that he will repeat his magic.'

Thanking Lingusamy for the opportunity, Ezhil, said, 'The story was conceived almost a year ago. I should thank Lingusamy for keeping faith in me and given me the opportunity to direct this movie'.
