“I still feel I am 28,” says the ageless Rekha who is looking ravishing as she turns 51 in a couple of days’ time. A mystery to many, Rekha is the ultimate diva who continues to surprise masses-n-classes with her wide variety of celluloid and real life roles. If she gave you many a gulps-in-the-throat with a stellar performance as Hrithik Roshan’s grand mother in ‘Krrish’ and then she sizzled the screen with ‘Kaisi Paheli Yeh Zindagani’ in Vinod Chopra’s ‘Parineeta’.

Rekha is also in news these days due to the constant comparisons between her ‘Umrao Jaan’ to Aishwarya’s Rai’s latest avatar in JP Dutta’s musical. But the no-complex veteran doesn’t like all these comparisons and feels very ‘protective’ of Ash. Rekha has another ace up her sleeves as she is all set with Gautam Ghosh’s ‘Yatra’ where she is indulging in ‘Umrao’ dance sequences to Khayyam’s music and Asha Bhosle’s seductive voice. And looking at her dance performance, it can be said that Rekha surely doesn’t look more than 28. At least her heart is very young. And restless.
