The national award winning actress Meera Jasmine joins Puneeth Rajkumar for the second time as heroine in 'Arasu'. She played the lead in 'Mourya'. Another beautiful actress Ramya is appearing in lead role with Puneeth Rajkumar for the third time. In Abhi and Akash she was the heroine for Puneeth Rajkumar.

Another redeeming feature of this Australian schedule is that veteran actor Srinivasamurthy is accompanying the team. Exactly after 20 years he is going to a foreign country as a supporting artiste in his profession. In 1986 he was one of the team members to Africa for the film 'Africadalli Sheela'. Director Mahesh Babu with a success behind him from 'Akash' is leaving for Australia on 6th of this month. The film has already completed first schedule shooting of 25 days in Bangalore. In Australia the talkie and two songs will be shot by cameraman Ramesh Babu.

Janardhan Maharshi has penned the story. M.S.Ramesh has provided the dialogues. Hamsalekha, Kalyan, Ramnarayan, Nagendra Prasad lent lyrics. Jyothsna Sridhar is the music director of this film.
