After a roaring success in Tanmatra, director Blessy is back with a bang. This time he would be directing Mammootty for a movie titled Palunku. It will go to floors soon and would be completed in a single schedule.

Plans are on to release the same this Christmas.

The film is about a farmer in the hilly areas of Idukki who becomes a path breaker for the farming community. The heroine will be a new face. Jagathy Sreekumar plays an important role in the movie.

Kaithapram pens Songs and Howli Pottur produces the film.
