A section of vernacular press has carried reports that an up and coming Kannada director Prem would direct Rajinikanth's movie after Sivaji.

According to the reports, director Prem has so far wielded the megaphone for three films in Kannada. He recently commenced shooting for a movie named Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe in which Rajinikanth took part.

According to Prem, Rajinikanth had reportedly urged him to direct his next movie in Tamil. 'I was thrilled by his request. Keen to work with him.'

Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe features Prem in the lead role. 'It would be a commercial entertainer with a strong message,' he said.

However efforts to contact sources close to Rajinikanth to confirm the news has ended in vain. Though it is not yet confirmed, the news of Rajinikanth planning to do another movie after Sivaji has really thrilled his fans all across the State.
