Vijayakanth’s new movie on 27 Aug

Captain's 150th film Sabari will kick off on 27 August. The movie would go to floors at a grand function to be held on the day.

Having established his presence in politics too, expectations are high on Sabari.

A huge invitation for the movie's muhurat is being distributed. Salem Chandrasekhar is producing the movie that would be directed by Suresh.

The director has earlier wielded the megaphone for movies including Gambheeram and Arasu.

Malluwood lass Jyothirmayi and Malavika act opposite Vijayakanth as heroines in the movie. The movie has dialogues by Pattukottai Prabhakar, cinematography by Y N Murali and music by Mani Sharma.

A major portion of the movie would be shot in Chennai, Pondicherry, Rameshwaram, Rajasthan and adjoining areas.

Meanwhile Vijayakanth's Dharmapuri is nearing completion. The movie directed by Perarasu will hit the screens this Deepavali.
