Aamir Khan shot for his film ‘Mangal Pandey’ in Wai (Panchagani). And ever since, he has fallen in love with the quaint hill station. It was in Wai that he fell in love with Kiran Rao who was assisting Ashutosh Gowarikar in ‘Swades’ at the same time as ‘Mangal Pandey’.

The duo had their over-publicised wedding reception here last year. And almost a year down the line, Aamir has decided to buy a sprawling bungalow spread in two acres.

The bungalow which originally belonged to ‘Being Cyrus’ director Homi Adjania’s parents has at least four rooms, a huge garden complete with hammocks and swings and a well in the backyard. Aamir’s two kids Junaid and Ira are fond of the place as well.

The cost of the bungalow is reported to be Rs 7 crore and Khan has thrown in a housewarming party for his family and friends tomorrow. Aamir’s parents and children will be part of the celebration as well.

IndiaGlitz wishes that the new house may bring peace and prosperity to one of the finest star-actors of Indian Cinema
