Vishal's Thimiru, which hits the screens this weekend, has been censored. The movie has been given a 'U' certificate by the officials.

Tharun Gopi directs the movie that stars Vishal, Reema Sen and VJ - turned- actress Shreya Reddy in the lead roles.

According to Tharun Gopi, the movie is a sequence of interesting events. It is a compilation of events in the life of a few people, who are opposite to each other. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has come good and the entire cast and crew have given their best efforts. Hopefully, the movie would click, he says.

Producer Vikram Krishna, who produced Vishal's Sandai Kozhi before, is hopeful that Thimiru would be a successful film from their production house.

Meanwhile, Vishal is currently shooting for Thamiraparani being directed by Hari.
