‘Kovil’ originally made in Tamil and directed by Hari is being dubbed into Telugu as ‘Rudrudu’. Simbu and Sonia Agarwal are the hero and the heroine of the film. For the past ten days, the dubbing work is going on at a rapid pace.

The producers Addala Venkatrao and Chintalapudi Vasu said, “We are not comprising on quality. In order to get the basics of the dubbing right, we are using 35 Artists. The film ‘Kovil’ was a hit in Tamil and A.M.Rathnam produced it on Sri Surya Movies Banner. The dubbing was done, according to the requirements of the film. We did not want to miss out on the natural feel of the film. The selection of the dubbing artists was done keeping in mind the characters played by the artistes in the original. The public will have the experience of watching a straight film. To the music of Harris Jayaraj, Lyricists Vennelakanti, Sahithi, Ponduri have come up with meaningful lyrics. The stunts of Super Subbarayan will be greatly liked by the mass. How the hero revolts against the elders and the people of the village in order to win the hand of his ladylove forms the major story of the film”.

Raj Kiran, Nazar, Vadivelu, and Rekha play the other important characters in the film.
