Payal Rohatgi is a smart-n-suave babe who is busy carving a niche by working in some C-Grade sex flicks like Chetana, Laila, Maza Maza and the about-to-be-released Men Not Allowed. She got some semblance of credulity when she starred in a Subhash Ghai hit film 36 China Town not so long ago. Better known for displaying her curvaceous figure and spouting kisses-by-the-dozen, Rohatgi is in news for her alleged link-up with late politician Pramod MahajanÂs son Rahul Mahajan who has been embroiled in a drugs controversy where he almost died due to an overdose.
Rahul was known to have had links with many Bollywood personalities. Most of them are denying having had any acquaintance with the Mahajan scion at this hour of crisis where he has been arrested by the Police and can well be imprisoned for over an year. But Payal, who herself admits to Âknowing Rahul for four years isnÂt shying away from owning up to her Âgood-friends status with him. According to her she would always be grateful to him for helping her search for a house in Mumbai when she first came here. It was due to the efforts put in by Rahul that she found a place in Bandra for which she didnÂt had to pay two months brokerage either.
The problem with being adjudged as a drug addict is that the friend circle in which he moves around is also looked upon with suspicion. So, is Payal Rohatgi an addict as well? She denies that, although she admits the vice of smoking which she had to quit after high levels of cholesterol were found in blood.
Another Bollywood actress who is being linked up with Rahul Mahajan is the sassy Pooja Batra. Well settled in US with her husband Dr Sonu Ahluwalia, Batra admits to knowing the contentious man since the time she participated in a fundraiser for Kargil soldiers organised by him way back in 1999. Obviously she denies having had any Ârelationship with him other than being Âbest of friendsÂ.
