No, this one is not about the hero Arya. This is about the film Arya.

Madhavan’s much publicized Arya is still a non-starter. The movie to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu is being directed by Love Today fame Balasekaran and produced by Manoj Kumar. After tasting success in Thambi, Madhavan was keen to begin Arya.

However only a few portions were shot. Rumors of bringing in another hero into the project are also doing the rounds. Madhavan is reportedly angry at his dates being wasted by the production house and has started to shoot for Manirathinam’s Hindi venture Guru.

He says that the producer and the director should be approached to know the reasons for the delay.

Meanwhile it is also said that Prakash Raj, who is also a part of this film, is the cause for the delay, as he is demanding a higher salary.

The exact reasons are not known. Let’s hope the shooting commence at the earliest.
