After Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth, Sridevi, Vikram is now trying to hog the limelight in Bollywood. His blockbuster Anniyan directed by Shankar dubbed and released in Hindi as Aparichit has witnessed a decent opening. Though there have been complaints on the quality of the dubbing, Vikram's histrionics in three different roles (Ambi, Anniyan and Remo) has won for him huge accolades. Though the film has been described as being over the top, Vikram has come in for huge praise from the knowing critics. The National award winning actor is now getting offers to act in straight Hindi movies. However all attention of Vikram is now on his next Bheema, directed by Lingusamy.
