What's common between 'Fanaa' and 'No Entry'? Hardly anything but if one looks at the controversy preceding the film's release status, the common factor is very much visible.

While the controversy surrounding the release of 'Fanaa' has finally come to an end, its difficult times for the exhibitioners to create awareness about the final status and schedule of the film's shows. The same happened in case of 'No Entry' when Boney Kapoor had to do a lot of running to ensure a smooth release of his film with certain deals still remaining to be settled with financiers. This resulted in prints not reaching certain theatres in time on the first day that spelt loss of revenue. Also, public at some places was not aware about the film's release. Fortunately the film picked up in a BIG way from Saturday and rest they say is history!

In case of 'Fanaa' though there should not be much issue about the delay in prints reach as far as dispatching of prints to respective theatres is concerned. YRF is known for sending the prints only on a Friday morning and as per industry observers, they won't have taken a laidback attitude to wait for the decision before making their prints move. With reports having started coming in all media forums about the film's actual release on Friday, it should help it save a lot of trouble!
