Dileep will play the lead role in Shaji Kailash's latest film taken after Chintamani Kola Case. Kalabhavan Mani too has an important role in the film. The film produced by Chandran has screenplay and dialogues by B Unnikrishnan. The film will be an Onam release. This is for the first time Dileep is acting in a Kailash film.

Dileep is currently shooting for Chess in which he plays a blind man opposite Bhavana.
