Unlike in KOI…MIL GAYA, where child artistes were inducted to play school children, in its sequel KRRISH, written, produced and directed by Rakesh Roshan, real school kids are featured as characters in various scenes, including a song.

Students from two schools – 15 from Chao Yang Special School of Singapore, and 16 from Shree Ram School of Delhi – participated in a schedule at Kallang River in Singapore.

The film is partly being promoted by the Singapore Tourism Board and The Indian Women's Association of Singapore, and 60% of the film has been shot in the exotic Far-Eastern country.

As a reciprocal gesture, Rakesh Roshan plans to hold premieres in Singapore during which his cast and crew will be present. The film stars Hrithik Roshan in the title role, along with Rekha, Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta in guest appearance, and Naseerudin Shah, among others.

It has music by Rajesh Roshan, special effects by Mark Kolbe and Craig Mumma of Hollywood and thrills by Tony Ching Siu of Hong Kong and Sham Kaushal. The film is slated for worldwide release in June.
