Komagata Maru is now EXCULSION

'Komagata Maru' has been renamed to 'EXCULSION'.

To be produced by David Hamilton, who is also the man behind trilogy of 'Fire', 'Earth' and 'Water' as well as 'Bollywood/Hollywood', the film is to be directed by Deepa Mehta and would star John Abraham in a principal role. Deepa Mehta has also expressed her desire to rope in Amitabh Bachchan for this special project of hers.

As per Hamilton, "In our next film, John will be playing an unconventional role of a sailor. The film, set in 1914, is the gripping saga of Asian immigrants who traveled aboard the ship 'Komagata Maru' towards Vancouver. They were refused entry and sent back!"
