Mohanlal's long-pending Mahasamudhram is expected for release this July. The movie being directed by S Janardhanan, went to floors long back.

With Laila cast opposite Mohanlal, a major portion of the movie was shot before the producer faced financial troubles resulting in the shooting being shelved for some time. Meanwhile the actor went busy with Rasathantram.

With just a few portion remains to be shot, the Mahasamudhram crew is hopeful of completing the movie this June once Mohanlal completes shooting for Keerthichakra.

If things go as planned, Mahasamudhram would grace theatres this July.
