Close on the heels of Mahesh Bhatt and the rest of 'Gangster' cast and crew denying that the film is nothing like Abu Salem's real life, even Ram Gopal Verma has gone ahead and said that his 'Nishabd' doesn't have anything to do with the yesteryear's classic Lolita.

Since the time an announcement came about Amitabh Bachchan playing the role of en elder man who catches fancy upon a teenager girl, there have been debates galore about the appropriateness of the screen idol's characterization. Probably on the backlash received about the public outcry [and surprise], RGV has stepped in front and denied any linkage between the two flicks.

Now whether this is indeed true or not, that is something time will tell when the film hits the screen but at the least it gives enough fodder for everyone to munch on and keep the quickie small budget film in news!
