It must have been a disheartening Bollywood journey for director duo Glen-Ankush so far.

They were one of the first directors to come up with a sci-fi subject for a full length feature film and even completed it a few years back. The film was titled 'Jaane Hoga Kya' and starred Aftab Shivdasani in an interesting double role of a human being and his clone. Preeti Jhangiani and Bipasha Basu were the leading ladies and though the film fetched good pre-release reports, it never saw the light of the day despite coming close to release at least on two occasions.

The director duo has moved on and has now been signed off for a thriller with a dash of supernatural - AKELA (tentative title). A project for the small screen, it comes from the same production house that has been behind immensely successful CID and CID Special Bureau on SONY TV. The thriller has Sudanshu Pandey (ex-member BAND OF BOYS) and Sumeet Raghavan (Sahil of Sarabhai V Sarabhai) playing the leads. While Sudanshu plays an ex-cop, Sumeet is his friend.

Here is wishing Glen-Ankush great success in their small screen endeavor!
