Kannada film actor Sudeep has lashed out at the attitude of producer Chinne Gowda in using his influence to remove 'My Autograph' film from Veeresh theatre in Bangalore and Gayathri theatre in Tumkur and Mysore. For the first time Sudeep lost his cool in a press meet and attacked the senior producer S.A.Chinne Gowda who is the father of actor Vijaya Raghavendra and Murali the two current heroes of Kannada cinema.
S.A.Chinne Gowda producer of 'Sevanthi Sevanthi' has announced the three theatres for the release of his film. He may be having big clout in the industry and also hold a good position in the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. But I will not allow him to remove my film 'My Autograph' to accommodate his son starring 'Sevanthi Sevanthi' remarked Sudeep angrily in an urgently convened media meet at Sarovar Hotel.
I am leaving for Bangkok for the shooting of my film 'Thirupathi'. I will be back after 10 days to Bangalore. In my absence if Chinne Gowda removes my film I have told my men to protest strongly said Sudeep.
I do not have belief in KFCC. So I have taken up the issue on my own to secure the theatres. In a theatre like Veeresh I am getting a weekly share of Rs.1.35 lakhs. That is excluding the theatre rent. Why should I leave that theatre for some other Kannada film. I have not recovered my investment of Rs.3 crores on 'My Autograph' added Sudeep in his address.
