First they said Mohanlal was to play a special role in the Tamil movie Sivaji, starring Rajinikanth.

But that was not to be. Mohanlal couldn’t give the dates asked by director Shankar.

Now the rumor mills have it that Mammootty may play a cameo in Vikram’s new Tamil movie Bheema.

Linguswamy directs the film.

Linguswamy, it maybe recalled, had worked with Mammooty in the Tamil film Anandam.

Vikram and Mammootty had also worked in Malayalam film several years ago.
