Souten known to be Mahima Chawdhury's come back film is ready for release. The film got heavily delayed due to Mahime's other releases like Home Delivery and Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye. The films bombed at the box office. Nonetheless her film Souten after long delays is ready for release.

The film also stars Padmini Kolhpure, Gulshan Grover, Shakti Kapoor and Kiran Rathod ( Yaadien). Producer Navin Kumar Tak is quite happy and apprehensive about the film's release. He is very thrilled with particularly Mahima's performance. He feels she can win awards with this performance.

We have to wait and watch. The film is based on a real life incident from a princely family of Rajasthan. The film has been shot extensively in Goa and Rajasthan. Souten hits cinema houses this week. The verdict on the film is yet to come.
