Tamilnadu’s politics is dynastic. Tamil filmdom is no different. If your father has something to do with films, you can certainly get into the industry.

So joining the list of sons of film personalities trying to dabble in acting is director P Vasu's son Vikram.

He would be making his debut in Kollywood with a movie to be directed by his father this May.

P Vasu, after a brief hiatus, gave back-to-back hits in Rajinikanth starrer Chandramukhi and Ajith's Paramasivan.

He is tipped to direct a Telugu movie starring Balakrishna next.

Once the movie is completed, he would begin the movie starring his son Vikram in the lead role.

Beginning next year, P Vasu will be directing the Hindi version of Chandramukhi, which would star Amitabh Bachchan and Kajol in the lead roles.

Vasu’s hands are full. But Vikram should be happy that he is getting a head start with his dad’s movie.
